Happy Belated Thanksgiving!

I hope that everyone one of you had at least as good a holiday as I did. I swear, I hate so much good food yesterday that my stomach is still distended. I have no idea how I made it up that hill on Glendale Ave on my bike this morning on the way to work. Still, I did make it and here I am with another installment of the Monarch Shipping List.

I’m going to keep it short and sweet this week on account that it is afternoon and I still haven’t gotten this e-mailed out. I can’t wait to discuss the pulse-pounding ending to Morrison’s Batman: R.I.P. with everyone who has been following it. Batman, along with the frankly magnificent Buffy, was an incredible one-two punch of comic thrills this week. I pity anyone who read them back to back as I’m sure it burned their cerebral cortex. 

You may have noticed that there is an attachment on this week’s shipping list. Well, one of my long standing customers, one Dan Ewald by name, is a student at BGSU and he needs your help to complete a paper this semester. I’m asking you to help him for purely selfish reasons. I want him to graduate and get a really good job so that he can buy more comics. In any case, the attachment is a relatively short survey for you to fill-out and e-mail back to him. All the pertinent information is on the attachment. Thanks in advanced for filling it out and turning it in.

Well, that’s it for this week. Please remember that we will not be receiving next week’s shipment until Friday, December 4th because of the Thanksgiving holiday. We here at Monarch Reserve the right to point and laugh at anyone who forgets and shows up anyway…J
